reading


All the people talk about the diversity in America all the time, about different nations, various 

ethnics, groups, and races. But “People Like Us” by David Brooks made me to think because it 

presents a new idea about America which is although, there is diversity in America, but all nations 

around the country are trying to group themselves or to live in the same neighborhood. People in 

United States are finding places where they are comfortable or where they feel they can grow. We 

might consider the United States a diverse nation as a whole, but block by block or neighborhood by 

neighborhood it is a homogeneous nation.
